About the Role
We’re looking for a Founding SDR to help drive our top-of-funnel growth and play a critical role in building the early sales engine at Ocular AI.
In this role, you’ll partner closely with our founders (Dartmouth, ex-Google, ex-Microsoft) and Account Executive to identify ideal prospects, generate qualified opportunities, and lay the foundation for our GTM motion.
This is a high-agency, zero-to-one role for someone excited to learn, build, and grow quickly in the AI space. You’ll get to engage with the most innovative companies in the world—from bleeding-edge AI startups to Fortune 500 enterprises.
What You’ll Do
- Research and prospect into target accounts across AI-native companies, research labs, and global enterprises
- Drive cold calling, cold emailing, and mass outbound campaigns to generate qualified leads
- Execute mass lead generation campaigns using outbound tools and prospecting platforms
- Qualify inbound leads and collaborate with AEs to move opportunities forward
- Craft personalized messaging that resonates with both technical and business stakeholders
- Book meetings and support Account Executives in early stages of the sales cycle
- Leverage CRM and sales tools to organize, track, and optimize outreach and lead conversion
- Help shape our outbound playbook, email sequences, and CRM hygiene
- Collaborate with Marketing and Product to provide feedback and inform campaigns
Who You Are
- 1–3 years of SDR/BDR or outbound sales experience in a B2B SaaS, AI/ML, or data tooling company
- Strong familiarity with modern sales stacks (e.g., Attio, Salesforce, Hubspot, Zapier, LinkedIn Sales Navigator)
- Highly motivated and eager to break into enterprise sales and the AI space
- Exceptional written and verbal communication—you can distill technical concepts into value
- Organized, self-driven, and excited to work in a fast-paced startup environment
- Comfortable working in person at our San Francisco HQ
- Bonus: Experience selling to technical audiences or working with ML/data teams
